The Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s Annual Ski & Snowboard SWAP is the best place to find all you need for the upcoming winter. Products include everything from alpine, snowboard, telemark and nordic equipment. All ranges of winter clothing and accessories such as helmets, gloves and goggles will also be available for purchase.. New and used gear from vendors and the general public will be available at great prices.

The Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships returns to Vail Mountain bringing with them the best snowboarders in the world competing to win the most prestigious Halfpipe and Slopestyle titles in snowboarding.

Pink Vail is a fundraiser that brings nearly 3,000 people, dressed in pink, together on Vail Mountain for an all-day event with live music, deck parties, costume contest and more. Pink Vail proceeds benefit all patients at Shaw Cancer Center through improvements to patient care and by funding our Spirit of Survival program, providing all patients the opportunity to receive free exercise training, nutrition coaching, emotional support, massages, acupuncture, outdoor adventures and much more.
The Annual Vail Film Festival includes film screenings, discussions, music, galas and parties, and a filmmaker reception. Organized and run by the Colorado Film Institute, the Vail Film Festival is a four day event that is attended by thousands of industry experts, movie makers, and fans of creative and unique cinema.

Vail Valor Marathon and Half-Marathon, Memorial Day

The Vail Valor Races offers several distances: marathon, half-marathon, 5-mile run/walk, and 1-mile memorial run/walk through town. The Summer Mountain Games are the nation's largest celebration of mountain sport, lifestyle and music featuring top professional and amateur athletes from around the world. The environmentally friendly adventure sporting event hosts approximately 3,000 outdoor athletes, along with an estimated 40,000 spectators. Events include kayaking, rafting, stand up paddling, mountain biking, road cycling, World Cup Bouldering, amateur climbing, fly-fishing, trail running and a half marathon. The Vail Arts Festival, renowned for its quality and variety of premier works of art. This open-air street festival creates ambiance and entertainment for Vail guests in late June. The Vail Arts Festival is a juried event with mixed media artists in multiple disciplines. There are over 80 artists showcasing digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics and print making, metal works, wood, mixed media, ceramics, paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and fashion.
Beaver Creek Rodeo Series, Thursdays, June-August
Dust off your cowboy boots and tack on some spurs as the 16th annual Beaver Creek Rodeo returns. Located in Avon behind Chapel Square with free shuttle service from the covered bridge in Beaver Creek Village. The full lineup of classic rodeo events include bronc riding, calf scramble, team roping, mutton bustin’, barrel racing, bull riding and burro racing. Bring the whole family for pony rides, face painting, mechanical bull, western fare and a wide range of barbecue offered by Vail Valley restaurants beginning when gates open at 5 p.m.

Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, June - August
Hailed as one of the Top 10 "Can't Miss" Classical Musical Festivals in the US by NPR (npr.com), Bravo! Vail is the only Festival in North America to host four world-renowned symphony orchestras in a single season. For six weeks every summer, internationally acclaimed soloists join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic featured in programs of the great classics, plus jazz and pops. During this 12 week period, experience the best of today’s jazz musicians at 40 different jazz shows including Jazz at the Vail Farmers’ Market (Sundays noon – 3pm), Jazz at Sweet Basil (Sundays 8:30 – 11pm), Jazz at Vail Square (Thursdays), Apres Jazz – wrapping up with the Labor Day Weekend Vail Jazz Party.
Vail America Days, July 4
A true summer celebration featuring exceptional entertainment including Vail’s celebrated 4th of July parade and fireworks. The parade alternates each year starting either from Golden Peak at 10:00 a.m. on July 4 and will wind its way through the villages, ending in Lionshead or vice versa. Vail’s parade is one of the most popular events during the Independence Day holiday.
Vail International Dance Festival: July - August
The Festival is a two-week celebration of exceptional artistry taking place in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Festival performances will take place at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail and Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek.
Gourmet on Gore, Labor Day Weekend
An open-air gourmet food and wine festival, Gourmet on Gore takes place along Vail's Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street showcasing the Vail Valley's premier restaurants as well as wine, beer and spirits from around the world. There is no cost for admission and guests can sample tasting-size portions of gourmet food as well as wine tastings and other beverages at very reasonable prices. Live jazz music, wine demonstrations combined with great food and drink come together to create a wonderful atmosphere in Vail Village.
