Vail Mountain rises 3,450 feet above Vail Village reaching an elevation of 8,200 feet above sea level and spanning seven miles of terrain. It is the largest single mountain ski resort in North America and home to the legendary “Back Bowls” which, in recent years have been blanketed with 38 feet of powder snow.
