Vail Mountain rises 3,450 feet above Vail Village reaching an elevation of 11,570 feet above sea level and spanning seven miles of terrain. It is the largest single mountain ski resort in North America and home to the legendary “Back Bowls” which, in recent years have been blanketed with 38 feet of powder snow.

With seven legendary Back Bowls, only Vail can truly offer something for everyone. With 5,317 acres of skiable terrain, you’ll enjoy Vail’s exceptional grooming on smooth green and blue runs, or find some bumps to keep your heart moving. Hit the Back Bowls to lose yourself in wide open fields of snow, or if you make it all the way to Blue Sky Basin, the rest of the world will melt away in backcountry-style glades.
