The Left Bank Restaurant  has been open nearly as long as the Sitzmark itself. The internationally renowned offering of French and American cuisine at the Left Bank has been a must-try for both visitors and locals since 1970.

In 2006, the restaurant was purchased by Chef Jean-Michel Chelain. He has carried on the traditions of The Left Bank Restaurant while adding his own unique style, which he has been perfecting since his days as an apprentice in France, beginning at the age of only sixteen.

For wine connoisseurs, The Left Bank is the place to be in Vail. The restaurant has spent decades cultivating relationships with vintners in the wine regions of France and California to find varietal and vintage selections of only the highest quality; rare wines produced, aged and stored to perfection.
