Vail Snow Daze: December 5-11, 2011
Winter doesn't start until we say it does. Kick – off the ski season with an action-packed week at Vail Snow Daze – the biggest early season party in North America. 

Thursday, December 8 - Guster 
Friday, December 9 - Jakob Dylan (of the Wallflowers) and his band 
Saturday, December 10 - Yukon Kornelius (Supergroup comprised of members of Dave Matthews Band, Guster, Fuel, and the Barenaked Ladies)

Holidaze: December 18-25, 2011
Vail HoliDaze - the perfect place for family celebration of the season. Vail comes alive with lights, sounds, events, and the cheer of the holiday season during December. From kid's bands, a cappella performances, world class ice shows, and Santa's work shop, you can't find a more festive atmosphere to spend quality time with the family than Vail.

Teva Winter Mountain Games: February 10-12, 2012
Winter in the Rockies will never be the same as professional and amateur athletes converge on the mountains and villages of Vail for a celebration of adventure sport, music and the great outdoors. The first annual Winter Teva Mountain Games presented by Eddie Bauer features competitions in mixed/ice climbing, mountain cyclocross, Big Air, and dual slalom biking, Nordic and telemark skiing, ski mountaineering, snowshoe racing and ascension with $60,000 in prize money on the line.

Seven Wonders of Vail: February 12, 2012
Vail's Legendary Seven Back Bowls stretch an impressive 7 miles and 2,734 acres - think you can ski them all in one day? Vail's Seven Wonders contest gives you the chance to show what you are made of. As part of the inaguaral Winter Teva Mountain Games - Vail presented by Eddie Bauer, the Seven Wonders is sure to be an experience you will never forget.

American Ski Classic: March 22-25, 2012
America’s original Pro/Am celebrity ski event returns to Vail Mountain March 22-25 as the 2012 Korbel California Champagne American Ski Classic once again takes Golden Peak by storm. Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2012, the Korbel California Champagne American Ski Classic, will once again feature a full slate of on-hill competitions including the Conway Cup community team race, Volvo Legends Giant Slalom and the Korbel Ford Cup celebrity team racing and the Future Legends Race.

Spring Back to Vail: April 9-15
The biggest end-of-season bash in the Rocky Mountains, Spring Back to Vail is a week of fun in the sun. Come early for an all-mountain film competition open to pros and amateurs, and then roll on through the week for free concerts, sweepstakes, the World Pond Skimming Championships and a free concert on Closing Day, Sunday April 15th.

Vail Film Festival: March 31-April 3, 2012
Presented by the Vail Film Institute, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to fostering independent cinema, the Vail Film Festival strives to encourage artistic innovation and promote new and creative film making. World premieres, independents, celebrities, forums and parties make this an event that should not be missed.

Taste of Vail: April 7-9, 2012
In its 21st year, the Taste of Vail is the nation's premier spring food and wine festival, held at several venues throughout North America's favorite ski resort. During the annual three-day event, upwards of 5,000 people are able to "taste the Vail Valley lifestyle" which showcases Vail's world-famous resort village set against dramatic mountain vistas. Participants at the Taste of Vail experience the Vail Valley's world-class restaurants, fine wine poured by winemakers and winery owners from top wineries around the globe, along with interactive seminars, auction and dance, the Colorado Lamb Cook Off, apres ski tasting and the popular mountaintop picnic sensory extravaganza at the top of Vail Mountain.
