“A returning customer for many years”

The Sitzmark is an extreme value in Vail. The location in Vail village is very convenient to anything you might wish to do, summer or winter. The rooms are very nice. The service is always great. The employees always make a special effort to meet your needs. Plan to return for ski season 2012.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very accomodating and extremely friendly. Plus the location is perfect-right at the heart of Vail.

"A small European style lodge in a great location."

The Sitzmark has been a family owned Vail landmark since the town was founded, but it doesn't rest on its laurels. My room was nicely updated, extremely comfortable, and the bed was fantastic. The staff was super-friendly and helpful in every way. Others have commented on the creek view. I was on the other side, overlooking the village street and mountain but didn't feel short-changed at all.

“Great Hotel in Vail”

Great find in Vail. Spacious and quiet room overlooking Gore Creek, right in the middle of Vail Village. Staff were great, and was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel for a long time. My only small complaint is that the internet service on the 3rd floor was very slow, seemed find down in the lobby. Hope to come back!!!
